I would say that "the White Nationalists are of Republican Origin" thing is like saying "Adolf Hitler was an environmentalist".... White nationalists may like low taxes and stuff but that doesn't make them "conservatives."
And I'm happy to disown completely ANY affiliation with White Nationalists... I have to place for them. I disown them. I renounce them. "Identitarians" (of any color) are against the American ideal in more ways than one.
It would... ahem... help if lefties were as... confident, and aggressive, and CLEAR in denouncing the Marxists in their midst. I think if that was true, these conversations (not with you EmJay, you're fine...I'm just saying in general) would be a ton easier...

Any analysis of American politics in comparison must begin with the central premise that, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." Using that as your central point (0,0), your x-axis becomes no individual freedom on the left to anarchy on the right. Y-axis would be centralized government on the positive axis to pure libertarianism on the negative axis. This would better interpret Presidents past and present, and Communism to French idealism as well as the major religions. When this patterning is done, an interesting (and I believe very compelling) model emerges regarding the American experiment. But that's probably another blog post...
The axis sound... the same. Wouldn't "no individual freedom" rather neatly coincide with "centralized government"?
Or are you doing what Robert is doing: x axis is what the PEOPLE do (or demand) and y axis is what the government do to them?
I supposed I'd need some more examples. (I think Robert is doing more articles on this, so it's an opportunity to explore. Plus, my good friend Jay and I have been playing around with a different matrix as well, so this is interesting to me...)
I believe there is some good sense in weighing the European model as we do in fact primarily hail from Europe and there was, in fact, a good deal of desiring to be free from the rule of one man present amidst those times.
This led to our structure of a balanced and weighted political system. However, I believe the free market idea of Capitalists has curated a web of policy which harbors heavy pockets of imbalance for the people. Therefore the democracy is indeed becoming quite the obnoxious + demonic crowd yet again.
I personally believe, with the intelligence granted me by my Creator, the experience I witnessed as a child raised in Capital Evangelicalism and as an AD military spouse of over a decade; that the NAZI crowd is associated with the Right because current active White Nationalists in the United States of America are indeed of Republican origin.
This is simply my experience, strength and hope. I appreciate the depth of Conscious effort placed in this article.
In order to understand the left one needs to understand to to which collective does each flavor focus. For Communists the collective focus is class. For fascism it is the Nation State. For National Socialism it is race. All grind people by the millions. The last one however is the most implacable. One can change ones class. One can swear allegiance to a new Nation. How does one change one's race. You cannot. This is why National Socialism is not Fascism. It is far more terrifying. For some there is no redemption no matter what you do.
